Who We Are
Banyan Clinical Services, a member of the Banyan Group of programs, is a group of community-minded practitioners providing a continuum of services and interventions.
As a social purpose enterprise driven by our multi-disciplinary team, we provide increasingly diverse, innovative, evidence-based services to children, families and community organizations including training and knowledge exchange. We are committed to re-investing profits from our practice back into the community to support the continuation of Banyan’s programming for at risk and disadvantaged children and families.
Banyan portfolio of service includes residential, crime prevention and clinical services to
children, adolescents, and families in several regions including Niagara, Hamilton, and Haldimand-Norfolk.
Banyan’s clinical team includes registered psychologists, social workers and clinicians that have extensive experience in assessment, diagnosis, counselling, and consultation.

The Banyan Tree
represents strength, growth, and community. The branches of a Banyan tree develop roots of their own which plant themselves into the ground, developing a new trunk. The off shoots also support the whole community of trees. This in turn creates a canopy that identifies a community meeting place and safe haven. In many cultures, the Banyan Tree in folklore represents community, children, health, and prosperity.
